A Whirlwind Last Few Days...

House hunting...

Sometime today we found our house, and left North O. to go to our agent's office to go write up a contract.

At the beginning of the day Cherri left the Emergency brake on...

After our jaunt in North O, we hit about 114th and Dodge.

To realize to our horror that our brakes are not responding.

Keeping calm we exit on 120th street going around 40mph. Big enough hill to get us to stop by the time we get to 120th. We slowly limp and turn into Burke High's parking lot.

I get to work 2 and 1/2 hours late.

Work was a blur... busybusybusy...

The good thing: work goes fast when busy. It's why I like it.

Our offer is accepted! Pending house inspection we shall have our new house as of August 30th.

I also have a Job interview this Monday for a Pharmacy Tech position at Children's, which would be good due to My new House's location.

The basement is perfect, will be a tad cramped for live practices, however life is life, it is better than what we have now. Until we get a drummer it is MORE than adequate. It's about bedroom size, perhaps the size of what we have now for the bedroom/studio setup.

This week I also got 2001's FLA cd, 2003's Haujobb cd (very good) and KMFDM'S out-of-print UAIOE cd.

I'm happy... and a party shall ensue after the move :-)
